Supported lines are Node 22 from 22.19, Node 24 from 24.11, and Node 26 or newer. Node 23 and 25 are not supported.
Get started
Install REA, then read the doctor report.
Setup writes client configuration only after you approve the plan. The command below is the npm package rea-agents. Source for this site is ReaReverse.

Clients
The same local server can be attached to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and other MCP clients listed by rea doctor.
Native engines
JavaScript and .NET metadata can be read without Ghidra. Native decompilation needs Ghidra, Hopper or IDA, which you supply. Hopper does not ship a Windows build.
After setup
Run rea doctor. If an engine is missing, the report says so. Restart the coding agent so it reloads the new MCP config.
What stays local
The analysis tools run on your machine. The findings you send to the agent still go to that agent’s model provider.
What to open first
One function, one IPC channel, or one saved HAR. A whole-application rewrite is a later project, not the first command.
